Parent Tot Swim Lessons

While Dan is teaching the swim team on Thursday nights at the Courthouse, Abby and I do parent tot swim lessons. She has definitely gotten more and more comfortable in the water since we started going every week. We count 1, 2, 3 and then she "jumps" in and goes under water. It is fun because one of the teachers has a little girl, Taylor, who is a week younger than Abby.

Trick or Treating with Mack

Cheryl invited us over to her house, along with all the cousins, to go Trick or Treating. Mack was a cowgirl and Abby was a Duck cheerleader. They both walked right up to the porches for about 8 houses and then they started to tucker out. My mom joined us as Cheryl's parents were there too. Abby only wanted Grammy to hold her and freaked out if she tried to put her down or if I tried to take her. My mom hadn't been able to pick her up for 6 weeks so I think Abby was enjoying being with Grammy again! In the last picture she is pointing to the witch's nose. :)

Fun Pictures from October!

Abby has become quite attached to a stuffed dog who is known simply as "doggy". She kisses him, feeds him graham crackers and brushes his fur. He also gets to go down her slide and now recently gets rides in her stroller. I am really hoping he holds up because he is just a cheap stuffed animal from Walmart that Dan or I got for each other for Valentine's Day one year. She enjoys being up where she can see when I am cooking in the kitchen. She also loves putting her blue bowl on her head in the tub. I thought this picture of her with her "purse" and "ba ba" were so cute.

Meeting Jack!

My friend Lisa and her family were in town from Gresham a couple weeks ago at her parents' house. We hadn't gotten to meet her son Jack yet and he had just turned one! Abby totally loved him! They ended up getting along really well and we had a lot of fun!! It was fun to see Allie too! She is getting so grown up! Dan stayed home and worked on his school assignments so we will have to hang out again so he can meet Jack too.

Such a Big Girl!

I can't believe how my baby is growing up! She enjoys "washing" dishes with me at the sink. She is also sitting at the table like a big girl. She loves grapes and can put back 10-15 of them at a time! She is also pretty good at drawing with a pad and pencil. I think she got a lot of practice in the back seat with Grammy on our road trip to Kansas this summer.

Abby's got mail! A Halloween Card from Grammy

Abby enjoys getting a card in the mail from Grammy on holidays. She is pretty good at opening them by herself now and "reading" them. She usually gets a $5 bill and she puts it in her piggy bank. It is hard though because sometimes she wants it back!

Uncle Dave's Artistic Work

Uncle Dave didn't have enough computers to work on the other day and he decided to give Abby a makeover! Silly Uncle Dave! She is pretty darn cute even with glasses and a mustache!
