Happy Birthday Daddy! February 28th

We went to Red Robin after church on Sunday, February 26th. Abby enjoyed helping Daddy with his ice cream sundae!
Nap time for Emma Lou!!

Later that evening we had our moms over for cake and ice cream!

Dan has been wanting to upgrade our TV for years so we finally got him a nice flat screen. I let the cake tell the story...it is tuned to channel 43 in honor of Dan's 43 years on this earth!! I love you babe!!

Happy Birthday to Daddy!!

Happy Birthday Babe!! It was nap time again for Emma! (My hair looks weird here.)

Yay!! It does make a big difference to watch things on a bigger screen!

On Dan's actual birthday, February 28th, Abby and I brought him breakfast in bed! (It's an egg and cheese and meat bagel sandwich.)

February Fun...

Emma loves pushing her little stroller around. She hasn't taken any steps on her own yet...
Emma likes to write and it keeps her busy too!

Daddy gave Abby a carnation from his swimming senior night. She thought she was a pretty beautiful princess with all her accessories and her flower.

It is nice to have both girls at the table and I can feed them the same things.

We usually have dinner at Grammy's house on Friday night and we always have pudding for dessert. Yum!

Emma can feed her pudding to herself now!

Abby loved her free drink! Now every time we drive by she says "Is it a free drink for Abby day?".

We enjoy spending afternoons at Uncle Dave's store sometimes on Saturdays. He had fun with the blower this last time. It was pretty funny! They use the blower to clean out the inside of computer towers. He always takes Abby out on the cart to put the cardboard out and get the mail. They keep the blower on the cart so they can blow out the computers outside.

I guess Emma wanted to see how much she weighed! I think she is about 21 pounds.

The Rest of January

Dan often gets to babysit Abby's dolls. She gives you bottles and burp cloths and even diapers. She is a great little mommy. :)

Emma has discovered the doodle board and enjoys drawing on it. She even holds the little magnet pen correctly.

I walked by the living room and saw Abby sitting in Emma's storage bin. Silly girl!

Sharing a sister snack.

We headed up to Mt. Hood to play in the snow. Dan and I are both weenies when it comes to driving in snow and putting the chains on. We also had a hard time finding a spot where we didn't have to pay $15 (even for Emma!) to $30 to slide down some hills. But we finally found a parking lot where people had made their own hills and we had a super time for FREE! :)

This was the first "little" hill we did. Abby loved it immediately and said "let's go again" about a million times.

Then Dan wanted to go check out the "big" hill. At first I was like no way, not with Abby, but it turned out to be fine. She'loved it!

On your mark, get set, GO!

Emma was a real trooper and just enjoyed watching everything. I have a feeling we are going to have trouble detaching her from her binky in the future.

This lady thought we needed a little push. :)

It was a little scary at first but then it was fine. I am not exactly a dare devil, especially now as I am getting older. :)

Dan took Emma Lou Lou down too. She seemed to be okay with it.

We put the girls on together on a little side hill.

Then Abby went solo a few times.

I took a few pictures and then realized that Emma's face was completely covered by her hat! We fixed it for this picture.

Abby and her friend Chloe got to play and explore at NW Kids Club which is an indoor playground in Salem. Chloe is my co-worker Allie's niece. We had a lot of fun!

Emma is almost walking...I have been saying that for several months now! Abby didn't walk until almost 15 months so we will see...

She liked going in the bouncy house with the big girls. :)

We have graduated to a booster seat. Since day one Emma has wanted to do and eat just what the rest of us were doing and eating. She is getting so big!

Dan took his West HS swimmers to the McMinnville Air Museum and Water Park. The girls and I tagged along too. He and Emma got to drive the Spruce Goose (Abby was off with the "big" girls).

Abby and her "girls".

We enjoyed the water park!

Dan and Abby went down the water slide and biffed it at the end. She didn't want to go again.

The wave pool (the waves were on a break).
