We had our ultrasound at 20 weeks today and we found out that we are having a little girl!! Her name will be Emma Amelia Evans. Dan's grandmother's name was Leona Emma Amelia (Timm) Keppinger. Since Abby's middle name is Grace after my grandmother's middle name we thought if we had a girl we could name her after one of Dan's relatives.
We waited a while to tell people so some of you may just be finding out we are expecting!!
Emma Amelia is due December 27th, 2010.
Sorry the ultrasound pictures are really not that great. The ultrasound tech said that Emma kept moving around like crazy!!! Abby was with us at the appointment and the tech said, "you are going to have your hands full, not like you don't already have your hands full!". I was like great, thank you lady for that encouraging thought!! We will survive I am sure.
I am just a bit bummed that it wasn't a boy but after our misscarriage last Christmas I know that a healthy baby of any gender is a miracle and a blessing. Even though Emma will be born in the opposite season as Abby we will have some clothes to choose from. :)
It's a Girl! This is looking up like we are underneath her bum. :)
