Oregon State Fair

This year Abby was old enough to go on some of the rides! We started with the canoes and she liked it. It was nice because we could go all the way around the river with her. :)

Next was the slide and Dan got to do this with her. I think she liked it.

We took a break from the rides to go see the animals. First we saw the baby chicks. There were geese and ducklings in there too.

We were so excited to see the ponies as we have been wanting Abby to get to ride one. She rode Rockstar who is an oversized minature. :)

Then we saw a large horse and Dan let Abby feed him some hay.

When we went into the arena to watch the horses we saw Dan's mom and his uncle. We will pretend the pom pom is green and yellow. :)

The piglets looked big to me this year.

Abby's first ice cream cone all her own. Daddy had to help her keep it from dripping. I don't think he minded. It was from the Big Red Barn. I look forward to an ice cream cone from there all year long!

We did a few more rides before heading home.

I think she had a great time!!
