Emma, when will she arrive??

Waiting and waiting... we walked around the mall for over an hour last night. Having some contractions today maybe?? We will see if they get worse...

December Pictures

Abby and I stopped by Daddy's swim practice on a Saturday morning. There is a bubble cover over the pool at Salem Swim and Tennis. It is pretty cool!! John who helps Dan coach and also is a photographer snapped a few pictures of Abby in her Duck outfit. Go Ducks!!!

Ready for Christmas!!

My Christmas present was getting stockings with all of our names on them.

Mackenzie and Brooklyn came over to play!

Christmas card from Grandma!

Dan's West swim team threw us a surprise baby shower at their Christmas party!!
Thank you guys!!

Taking a nigh night with Doggy. I don't think he is asleep!!

The crayon train...

My mom got an extra baby Jesus when she bought an outdoor nativity scene off Craigslist. He gets to stay at our house and apparently he likes to ride in the baby stroller too!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

We decided to make Jesus a birthday cake. Rainbow chip cake!! Abby liked helping and I even got some video of her singing Happy Birthday to him!!
Making the frosting while the cake is in the oven.

My big helper.

Decorating the cake with some sprinkles!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!

Blow out the candles!

YAY!!! Thank you God for sending Jesus to us as a baby!

Swimming Lessons

They didn't have any other kids in Level 1 so Abby got to be with the Level 2 group. She is getting her toes to the edge so she can jump in.
She is still a little timid and likes to hold the teacher's hands.

She's pretty good about getting out of the pool from the side.

She is waving to Daddy across the pool where he is doing the swim team.

This is Abby's friend Addison. She is in Level 2 now. She is 4 1/2 years old and her mom said everyone thinks she is 2 1/2. Funny because we have the exact opposite problem!!

She likes relaxing on her back...

and on her tummy.

She was telling her teacher she wanted to do a bob. :)

Noodle Girl!!

All the kids like to sit in the hot tub after lessons.

Carousel and Santa!

We went to see Santa at the carousel. We were told he was on a short break so we decided to take a few rides on the carousel. I noticed a sign that said Santa was on his LUNCH break and wouldn't be back until 3:30pm. It was currently 2:45pm! Somehow we convinced Abby that we would go to the grocery store and then come back and see Santa. :)
Hi DaDa!!

Daddy's turn to ride now.

Yay!! We love the carousel!

Hi MaMa!!

We are back to see Santa!! She was so excited! I think being around Titan Man at the West Salem HS football games helped her not be afraid of Santa this year.

She was a little shy at first.

She gave him several high fives. I kept missing them!

She perked up when he brought out some bells. He gave her one for baby Emma too. A successful year with Santa!! Yay Abby!!!

Beach Trip

We enjoyed a weekend in Newport, OR. It was beautiful and we got to explore on the beach.

We are usually in Lincoln City so we felt like we found a new beach. We stopped at the Yaquina Bay State Park. We walked out on the rocky Jetty.

Soon there will be one more set of feet!

And one more face!

Abby loved touring the Yaquina Bay lighthouse.

A fun day!

Dinner at Mo's. Coloring while we wait for our food. We ate at the downtown one and it had been majorly remodeled since we were there last. Very nice!

Daddy and Abby

Last we had to go see the sea lions. Abby liked mimicking their noise.
