Christmas!

We have been going to Harriet and Darrel Dixon's house on Christmas Eve since I was 4, so about 28 years! I didn't get a good picture of them this year. :( We really enjoy our time at their house. They always get the kids a little gift and then give a gift to people in need in honor of the adults. This year they gave money to help those in Haiti. This was close to home for them as their grandson is currently there on a mission trip.

Emma got a carrot rattle and a bunny pacifier holder.

Abby got a Dora sticker book and Christmas books!
This year Dave's dogs Shaka and Sadie got a toy too. Abby was dancing and singing Jingle Bells with it as it was a noise making toy.
This year Abby had a playmate Amber Lee.
This moose was basically life size for Abby!! Thank you Harriet and Darrel for another wonderful Christmas Eve.

We had our own family Christmas on Christmas morning.

Maracas!

A tea set!

Daddy got the first taste!

Helping Mommy open her gift.

A drum!

We checked out this I'm a Little Teapot book from the library and Abby had a hard time giving it back. Now she has her own copy of it!

A Yankee alphabet book. Daddy liked this gift!

Abby's friend Mack got high heels for her birthday and I saw how much Abby liked them. I knew she would love having a pair of her own.

Whenever Daddy gets out his tools Abby wants to use them too. Now she has her very own drill!

Abby is always taking my calculator and then I can't find it. I got her one of her own now. I thought this was cute of her taking it under the tree to play with it.

You just never know when you might need a power tool!!

Later in the morning we headed over to Grandma's house for brunch. Kelly and Amy were there with cousin Arden. Also Joel and Grandma of course!

Abby helped Grandma pass out all the gifts.

Thank you for all the gifts everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Next we went to Grammy's house for Christmas dinner. Marsha was there and also Uncle Tom and of course Uncle Dave and Grammy!

Abby and Uncle Tom!

Grammy had an advent wreath that reminded us of the Christmas story. Abby helped snuff out the candles after dinner.

Reading us her new Christmas book.

Hi Marsha!

Looking at Grammy's scrapbook.

Is that you on Uncle Dave's calendar Abby??

A present in honor of Grandpa Gordon. It is a puzzle that makes noise!

Abby's Dora car from Uncle Dave was a huge hit!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!
