December 1st was Abby's half birthday. Since Emma is due around Christmas I have decided that we will probably celebrate her birthday with family and friends on her half birthday sometime in May as she gets older. This has prompted me to pay more attention to Abby's half birthday in December. I have lots of different ideas and I think it will be fun. Dan of course thinks it will just be more work and confusing. We will have to see I guess!! I plan on normally making them each a cake on their half birthday but for this year Abby got a slice of leftover pumpkin pie. :) I don't think she minded.
