We spent the day at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and at the beach with my friend and coworker Allie and her niece Chloe.
We had a lot of fun!
It was gorgeous on the beach! We had such a good time. We went to the beach by Camp Winema. It is a Christian camp that I went to in high school. There is public access to the beach and it is a really nice area.
We got to go in the water and climb on the rocks.
The girls are really two peas in a pod.
After our day with Allie and Chloe we continued on to Newport and SeaKrest Lodge. My mom, Marsha and their friend Jane were there.
Dan makes a mean fire and we enjoyed s'mores.
We did a little exploring...
Abby and I went up in the Lighthouse. Kids have to be 42 inches to go up so Emma wasn't big enough. There were flies EVERYWHERE!!!! Also we were waiting in the car for the lighthouse to open and the girls were up front with us. All of a sudden Abby looked above my head and said "What is that?!?". It was a HUMONGOUS spider!!! Like bigger than a quarter!! Like 2 inches from my head!!! You can say I freaked out. Dan killed it thankfully. Now I find myself looking up in the car making sure there are not any spiders.
My mom always brings along a puzzle. This year we had to go buy a second one because they finished the first one so quickly!
It was actually supposed to rain the 4 days we were at the beach but we ended up with beautiful weather the entire time!!
Dan found a little crab.
He also found a few starfish.
Abby did a few puzzles herself.

We spent an afternoon at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
Lots of fun!! :)
One more evening on the beach...
Emma was in the backpack so we didn't get her little foot... :(
