Road Trip to Kansas Part 1 -The Trip Out

My Mom, brother, Dan, Abby and I decided to venture out to Kansas at the beginning of August to see my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Don and my twin cousins Julie and Jennifer and their families. My brother would fly in for a long weekend and my Mom, Dan, Abby and I would make a road trip of it. We were gone for 15 days and traveled in 12 different states. Abby did awesome! That was mostly thanks to Grammy who had 2 huge bags of fun stuff to explore while in the car. My brother also gave her a computer keyboard to keep her entertained. Although as you can see in the pictures she did resort to her own kind of fun now and then. Abby got use to eating dinner out at a variety of restaurants, going for a relaxing swim at the end of the day, waking up in a different place every morning and eating motel continental breakfasts! We mailed a postcard to her best buddy Mackenzie from every state we traveled through. We also got to spend a few hours with Dan's good friend Doug and his fiancee Candace in Colorado. It was a fun trip out!
