My Aunt suggested we stop by the Oklahoma City Memorial on our way through Oklahoma. It was definitely worth our time. In the memorial I saw the picture of the fireman carrying the baby that was on the front page of many newspapers after the bombing and realized that her name was Baylee and she was Abby's age. It made me realize how sad and tragic the bombing was even though it wasn't close to where I lived. It made me thankful to have my family. We bought a teddy bear at the gift shop for Abby and we call it her Baylee bear. The second picture shows the chairs they have on the memorial site for every person who died in the bombing. Behind Abby to the left is Baylee's chair.
