Beverley, England July 2016

They had these painted metal moths on buildings around the city.  They were made by an artist they were honoring.  I have more of them in the post from Hull, England.

Owen's nickname is Mr. Moo. :)

We went to a burger restaurant in this shopping and restaurant complex.  The whole area was new and included a movie theater and also the motel we stayed in.  It also had this cool little playground area.
The main reason for this whole trip was to visit my mom's cousins Lynn and Bryan.  Their mother was my mom's dad's sister. Bryan and his wife Adrienne have 3 sons, Richard, Shaun and Martin.  Richard and his wife Kay have Joseph and Poppy. Poppy is in the picture above.  Kay is a teacher and she and Richard have the same anniversary as Dan and me. It was so fun to meet everyone!

Poppy's 9th birthday was the next day so we had a get together at my Auntie Lynn's church.  There were a lot of delicious sandwiches, chips or "crisps" as they call them, fruit and many delicious desserts!  They also surprised my mom with a birthday cake along with Poppy! My mom will be 70 in October.

Lynn's best friend Katharine and her husband Richard.
We got to meet Shaun and his partner Clare and Martin and Emma and also Martin's kids Evie (and her mom Jenny with her son Henry), Oliver and Masie. It was fun for the adults to chat and the kids to play!

We had fun looking at old picture albums that Lynn brought. The picture below is of my mom!

This is my Auntie Lynn outside her house and below is us in her backyard.

My mom, Abby and Ellie stayed with my Auntie Lynn while we were in Beverly.  After her birthday party Poppy spent the night as well!

Dan and I along with Emma and Owen stayed at the brand new motel.  The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
